About Us
How it All Started
Lumena Collective was created to fill a spiritual and emotional gap in healing spaces where art, wisdom, and community meet. We believe that healing is not about erasing pain, but about walking with people through it, helping them discover their own light in the midst of struggle. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to create safe, inclusive spaces where individuals of all ages and backgrounds can transform pain into purpose through creativity, emotional support, and spiritual empowerment.
Our founder, Elizabeth Rohaidy, envisioned Lumena out of deeply personal experiences with trauma and resilience. Having lived through loss, abuse, and disconnection, she recognized how isolating pain can feel and how few spaces exist for people to be truly seen, understood, and held. Inspired by her journey and the countless others carrying invisible wounds, she created Lumena Collective as a place of belonging, where no one has to heal alone.
At Lumena, we honor both light and shadow. Through art therapy, mentorship, creative workshops, and community gatherings, we help people embrace every part of themselves turning wounds into wisdom, and struggle into strength. We are building a movement rooted in compassion, creativity, and connection, with a vision of a world where every person knows they are not broken, they belong, and their light matters.
